Chinese search engine company Baidu Inc. has launched an Internet platform to accept netizens’ complaints about information promoted by the search engine service at Baidu.com.
Unlike its overseas rival Google.com, Chinese search engine Baidu.com is apparently showing that it is fully committed to working with the Chinese government to enhance the government’s ability to rid the Internet of “bad”information.
China Internet Illegal Information Reporting Centre has exposed 11 Internet access service providers that provide service to websites spreading pornographic and vulgar information.
