In the preliminary round, Chelsea captured attention on social media by wearing a blue Cinderella-inspired gown designed by Manny Halasan. She also paid homage to the country’s religions through her national costume, “Hiraya.”

Chelsea vied to bring home the Philippines’ fifth Miss Universe crown. The 73rd edition of Miss Universe featured the “Lumière de l’Infini” (Light of Infinity) crown, handcrafted by Filipino artisans.
