One such dish making waves beyond online is the Amritsari Kulcha, a beloved Punjabi flatbread from Amritsar. This buttery, stuffed bread is typically filled with ingredients like spiced potatoes, panner or mixed vegetables. A recent video surfaced online showcasing its popularity now extending across the globe.

The video, shared by the page with the moniker Amritsar Is Live, shows an Amritsari Kulcha being sold on the streets of Shenzhen in China. The footage features a vendor skillfully preparing the kulcha, from rolling the dough to baking it in a traditional tandoor, just like street vendors in India. Once the kulcha is ready, the vendor wraps it up in a paper bag, ready to be served.
