Japanese social game giant Gree announced the future strategy for its overseas offices, and the company said it will close the office in China.

Gree’s offices in the United States and South Korea are having fast growth; however, all these overseas offices still made losses.

Gree’s Chinese office has now been shut, but the employees are reportedly still negotiating with Naoki Aoyagi, the chief financial officer of Gree, about layoff compensation.

In March 2011, Gree announced the founding of its Chinese office in Beijing to promote it social gaming and social networking services.
