AHEAD of the observance of the Holy Week, the Manila Cathedral is urging the faithful to have their confession.

In a social media post, the Manila Cathedral said confession is also an important aspect of the observance of Lent.

“As we live our Lenten journey with the disciplines of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, let us also spend this time availing of the Sacrament of Confession,” said the Manila Cathedral.

Confession is a Sacrament, where individuals confess their sins to a priest, receive absolution, and are reconciled with God and the Church.

The Manila Cathedral said it has an ongoing schedule of confessions until April 12.

It will be held from Mondays to Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. (Anton Banal/SunStar Philippines)
