‘I’m a professional girlfriend and one man paid me a wild amount for five minutes’

A woman has been making a fortune by working as a “professional girlfriend”.

Ruby Jade, who shares details about her unconventional job on TikTok, recently revealed just how much she’s been earning on her @ruby _x_jade page.

The 24-year-old, from Brisbane, Australia, is aiming to become a millionaire and believes she’s made a good start in 2025. As it stands, she’s been showered with £3,000 (approximately €3,550) worth of gifts over the last few months alone, reports the Mirror.

She disclosed that the majority of this comes from a recent 5-star, two-night trip with one of her clients from Singapore – who splashed out a fortune for just five minutes of her time. The Aussie beauty revealed the wealthy suitor spent $5,500 (AUD) (around €3,200) on the trip – and she only saw him briefly on the flight.

Ruby shared: “I was on floor 18 of the hotel and he was on floor eight. The only time I briefly saw him was during the flight and in the business class lounge before each flight. Aside from that, we didn’t have any time to spend together, as I was off doing my own thing. He was more than fine with not spending time with me. And I had a wonderful trip.”

Ruby also received more perks from her match. She was given the trip as part of her Valentine’s gift from him – including $1,000 (AUD) (€580) for her time.

What’s more, she was lavished with gifts including two books, the newest Amazon Alexa hub, two smart lamps, a bathmat and an outdoor rug. She estimates this cost $850 (€490) in total.

The lucky client treated her to a $2,000 (€1,150) two-night Sydney getaway. He didn’t just cover the flights and accommodation, he also threw in an extra $1,000 for spending cash.

Ruby shared: “I had access to first-class lounges and was booked into a junior suite. I told him I was going to cover the bills for my friends, too. I met up with two other well-known creators on different days and also got some bath bombs to use in the spa in my room. He reimbursed me any amount I went over.”

This isn’t even a rare treat for Ruby. Just this year, she’s bagged a brand new €580 PS5 with games, splurged on a €140 back massager, and enjoyed fancy dinners, all on someone else’s tab.

The job might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but the plush perks have legions of her TikTok followers dying to know her secret. One quizzed: “How do I get into the industry?” Enthused by her lifestyle, another follower commented: “Love this! Definitely need to do something like this.”

And a third was all ears, saying: “I would love to know more about this.”
