Rico Blanco invites BINI’s Maloi, Ben&Ben’s Pat and Agnes, other artists to new La Union hotel

MANILA, Philippines – It was an artists’ gathering in La Union as Rico Blanco invited several of his fellow OPM stars to Motel Mambo, his new hotel in surf town La Union.

Seen in Rico’s social media post on Thursday, January 9, were Maloi of P-pop group BINI, Pat Lasaten and Agnes Reoma of band Ben&Ben, Joshua Caleb Lua of band Over October, and soloists Zild Benitez, Blaster Silonga, and ischi. Celebrity photographer Shaira Luna was also with the OPM artists.

“Such a joy and honour to host Pinoy music royalty in Motel Mambo,” Rico wrote, also calling them “Mambo cuties.”

“I’m so blessed and thankful to have talented, hardworking and fun artist friends taking a much deserved break, unwinding and recharging with me on my first time back since our doors officially opened,” he added.

Maloi, Pat, Agnes, Joshua, Ischi, and Shaira also took turns sharing images from their trip via X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram stories.

“Eh natuloy ang Elyu hahahah (The LU plans finally push through),” Pat wrote, while Joshua put on record the “core memories” they made.

Motel Mambo “has been a dream that took me eight years to fulfill,” Rico shared on his Instagram post.
