A NEW luxury toilet is an out of this world hit with tourists as this futuristic bathroom becomes a top attraction at a shopping mall in Nanjing, China.

Designed by Shanghai based X+Living, the lavish loo, located on the sixth floor of the shopping centre, transports people to an other-worldly immersive experience.

The dazzling lights and extravagant designs don’t take away from functionality, as the bathroom has the usual facilities, a nursing room and an accessible toilet.

The spectacle has caused a buzz on social media, with visitors mesmerised by the celestial lavatory.

It comes as stars including the Kardashians, Jennifer Lopez, Will Smith, and Kate Hudson, are turning to an ultra-high-end brand for their toilet needs.

The standards in show business are something else, so it may come as no surprise that stars do their business in a different way.

Several mega-celebrities have outfitted their bathrooms with plumbing by Toto, which sells toilets for up to $22,000.

Bill Strang, the president of operations at the brand, noted that their toilets and bidets are so special that some stars have even given them as gifts.

“DJ Khaled wanted our product and expressed his desire to have it and hadn’t pulled the trigger yet,” Strang told The Sun.

“But then his buddy Drake got him the product for his birthday two years ago,” he said.

“It was an interesting moment when DJ Khaled received that at his home in Miami — four of our highest-end models showed up,” he continued.

“He was so excited about it that he put it on his Instagram account and it got noticed by the hip-hop community and we got billions of social media impressions.

“He was so genuine in his appreciation for it and delighted to have it in his life.”

Both DJ Khaled and Drake have the Neorest NX2 Dual Flush Toilet models, which retail for $21,181.

Meanwhile, the Kardashians and Jenners have had their Neorest NX models, which cost up to $22,000, for almost ten years now.

Other famous fans of the brand include Cameron Diaz, Pamela Anderson, and Tom Cruise.
