The newlyweds’ nuptials come shortly after Carlsen’s recent triumph at the FIDE World Blitz Championship 2024. In an unprecedented decision, Carlsen
shared the title with Russian Grandmaster Ian Nepomniachtchi after an intense tournament ended in a tie. The decision to split the championship has sparked widespread debate in the chess community, with some praising the gesture as a show of sportsmanship, while others criticised it as undermining the competitive spirit of the game.

Despite the controversy, Carlsen remains at the pinnacle of his career, balancing his personal and professional life with remarkable ease. Fans and well-wishers have flooded social media with congratulatory messages for the couple, celebrating their union as a new chapter in Carlsen’s journey.

As Carlsen embarks on this new phase of his life, the world will now watch keenly to see how the champion continues to dominate the chess world.
