Prospera Place is celebrating 25 years of entertainment in the Central Okanagan.
Since hosting its first concert, Moist in August of 1999, the venue has welcomed numerous world-class acts and sporting events.
The arena is owned and operated by GSL Group and has hosted major events like the World Junior Hockey Championships and the Memorial Cup, as well as performances by icons including Jay Z, Aerosmith, Shania Twain, and Elton John.
“Thanks to the people of Kelowna and the surrounding area, the last 25 years have been a resounding success,” said Graham Lee, president and CEO of GSL Group.
Over the past year, Prospera Place has hosted more than 70 event nights, with plans for over 80 events in the coming year.
Highlights include the 2025 Montana’s Brier in February — the first visit to Kelowna since 1968 — and the Canadian Country Music Awards in September 2025.
Since its opening, Prospera Place has welcomed over six million attendees.
