Regina, who is currently competing in the Pole Dance World Championships in Uppsala, Sweden, claims “pole dancing has long since left the sleazy corner”.

She told Bild: “Back then, one or two people would sometimes turn up their noses when I talked about my hobby.

“But now everyone understands that you don’t have to have anything to do with the red light district to do the sport.”

Pictures show a scantily clad Regina upside down on a mental pole and her abs clench at the effort.

It comes as a super fit 65-year-old nan became an internet sensation due to her muscular physique and mindset.

Marlene Flowers is a ripped grandma who only started to exercise seven years ago, after having a wake-up call.

According to the ”bodybuilding granny”, she’d been struggling with eating disorders and health issues, which ultimately led her to getting surgery at the age of 58.

Speaking to the Pittsburgh City Paper, Marlene said: “After that experience, I knew that I needed to make a change.”

Determined to turn her life around, Marlene began to work out and follow a healthy lifestyle, before discovering a passion for weightlifting.

Since embarking on the journey, the fitness lover has not only managed to grow an impressive set of muscles – but also a huge Instagram following on her page where she calls herself Granny Guns.

Meanwhile, another fit grandma is not letting age limit her fitness goals.

Lesley Maxwell has shared her secret to having an amazing figure with her social media followers.

Maxwell, a 64-year-old bodybuilder, has earned more than 30 bodybuilding titles and fitness crowns.

She started her fitness journey in her 40s, and she’s been teaching her thousands of supporters how they can obtain their desired physique as well.

In a social media post, Maxwell recently shared some tips with followers.

She posed in a baby blue sports bra and legging set.

In the caption she wrote: “I love helping my clients achieve their fitness and body goals.

“We can change our body shape and health from training and eating efficiently.

“I spend my precious energy on weight training as it builds a strong body and increases lean body tissue (aka muscle) I like big compound movements and train my legs more than most people.”
