Official Renders Of The Xiaomi 15 Series Have Been Released Just Days Before Its Launch, Revealing The Design Of The Upcoming Flagship Models

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its new Xiaomi 15 series later this month. Like with any smartphone about to be launched, the models are not free from speculations, with glimpses of the phone coming out every now and then. However, the latest renders give us a more detailed look at the device and raise our expectations of what the upcoming products could offer. The company officially shares the renders, and this is the closest sneak peek we can get of the models coming out soon.

Official renders of the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro give us a detailed look at the upcoming models

Xiaomi recently shared rendered images of the anticipated Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro on the popular Chinese social media platform Weibo. From the first look, we can see that previous speculations regarding the design of the flagship models seem to match up and the device would be exhibiting a sleeker look this time around.

While the new models continue with the same triple camera setup as their predecessor, there is a noteworthy change in the camera design, which is the Leica-branded camera system that alters the classic camera design with the LED flash positioned outside the square camera module. This major change would give a cleaner look and would allow for greater functionality due to the relocation.

Xiaomi has also incorporated a Laser AutoFocus module (AF) that will help improve the camera speed and accuracy of images, giving sharper pictures and the ability to adjust focus more precisely, especially in low-light or fast-moving situations. The Xiaomi 15 additionally comes with a 6.36-inch display and a relatively compact form factor, and it can be taken as a competition to the Vivo X200 Pro mini in China.

Xiaomi 15 will also have an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that will offer faster and more reliable fingerprint recognition, which comes in handy in tough situations compared to optical sensors. It is to be packed with a 5,500 mAh battery and would support 90 wired and 50W wireless fast charging to recharge the device quickly.

The Xiaomi 15 Pro design has also been shared, and the first thing that caught our eye was the green color option, which was noticed this time around, as previous renders showed the model in black, white, and silver. The Pro model would feature a 6.78-inch quad-curved AMOLED display and come with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It will weigh 213 g and measure 8.35 mm thickness, making it more refined and thinner than the previous model.

The 15 Pro model has a 6,000 mAh battery and offers 90W wired charging, 80W wireless charging, and a 10W reverse wireless charging option. The Xiaomi 15 Pro is said to come with a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.4 aperture, 50MP ultra-wide, 32MP front-facing camera, and a new 50MP Sony IMX858 5X telephoto camera.

The Xiaomi 15 series is expected to be unveiled in China on October 29th, and a global launch will follow. Although the new models do not have some major design changes, the specifications and some of the upgrades are noteworthy and could appeal to the consumers.
