Meralco rushes to restore power to over 500K customers in Luzon affected by ‘Kristine’

MANILA, Philippines — The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) is working “non-stop” to restore power to over 500,000 customers in areas affected by Severe Tropical Storm “Kristine.”

As of 8:00 a.m. Thursday, Meralco said 535,000 residents from Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, Quezon, Cavite and Laguna experienced service interruptions.
