The fifth-anniversary celebration of Michael Jordan‘s tequila brand was a massive event. From sharing a wholesome moment with DJ Khaled to posing with A-list celebrities, pictures from the event garnered significant attention on social media. However, that wasn’t the only highlight! Another star of the night was the brand’s newest launch, and MJ shared a heartfelt message to co-owners Serena Williams and Jeanie Buss.

All five co-founders of the brand introduced the limited edition Añejo Cristalino. These masterminds have always been focused on one goal: creating the best tequila in the world. The Añejo Cristalino reflects this, featuring elevated notes of citrus, agave, and fruit. Hence, with their hard work gaining fruitful results, and may we say delicious, even Jordan could not hold back his emotions.

“Five years ago, we set out to create an exceptional brand and achieve the gold standard in tequila. What started as a passion project has grown into something truly special with some of my closest friends joining the business and enjoying Cincoro together, whether it’s stateside or around the world,” the Chicago Bulls legend told Fox Business in a press release.

Tequila enthusiasts will be delighted to know that the concoction is aged over 20 months in Tennessee whiskey barrels, providing it with just the right note. Priced at $149.99, the liquor is one of the premium launches.

It is housed in a platinum chrome-finished bottle. The Añejo Cristalino is crafted with 100% Blue Weber Agave harvested from Jalisco, Mexico. It’s rare to spot Jordan and his wife at parties. But when they do, some of the Cincoro creations are also often seen. And with new shareholders such as Williams joining the group, it’s about to get more interesting.

“Being a part of this journey has been incredibly rewarding. I’m passionate about quality and excellence in everything I do, and that’s exactly what we strive for with Cincoro,” Williams mentioned in the press release.

Cincoro recently struck a deal with Eclipse Beverages, enabling the tequila brand to expand its business into emerging APAC alcohol markets, including Hong Kong, Macau, China, Korea, Japan, and Australia. With Eclipse’s regional market expertise and strategic push, this partnership presents a significant opportunity for Cincoro to strengthen its presence.

The brand now boasts partners like Williams, Derek Jeter, Keegan Bradley, and more. Cincoro has already established a foothold in European countries such as Greece, France, and Germany. Founded by five NBA elites—Michael Jordan, Emilia Fazzalari, Wyc Grousbeck, Wes Edens, and Jeanie Buss—Cincoro was born out of their shared passion for creating the finest tequila. And now, it’s striving to make a space in the alcohol industry.
