Realme to launch its new flagship smartphone in India this month: Here’s all we know so far

Realme is all set to launch a new flagship smartphone in India. The upcoming Realme GT 6 teaser posted by a senior company executive suggests that the smartphone will arrive in India in mid-June. The company also confirmed that the smartphone will arrive in India but did not reveal the launch date. However, the smartphone will launch in India this month, as per the teaser. 

Realme Vice President Chase Xu hinted at the possible launch date of the Realme GT 6 in a short video clip posted on X. In the teaser for RealTALK episode 2, the company executive was seen holding a ‘Realme Tech News’ newspaper with a poster of the Realme GT 6 at the back. 

The words “June 20” are shown in bold text, hinting at it being the possible launch date for the upcoming flagship-level smartphone from the Chinese smartphone maker. In the clip, the VP also revealed that it would be coming soon in different languages.

Realme GT 6 Price (Expected)

The Realme GT Neo 6 is available in three variants. The 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at CNY 2,099 (roughly Rs. 24,000), the 16GB + 256GB variant costs CNY 2,399 (roughly Rs. 27,000), and the top-end 16GB+1TB variant is priced at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 34,000).

Realme GT 6 Specifications (Expected)

According to reports, the Realme GT 6 might be a rebranded version of the GT Neo 6 smartphone, which was launched in China on May 9. If this is accurate, then the Realme GT 6 could also come with a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. 

The GT Neo 6 is equipped with a 4nm octa-core Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, along with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. On the camera front, it boasts a dual camera setup on the rear, including a primary 50-megapixel Sony sensor, and a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Additionally, it is powered by a 5,500mAh battery and supports 120W charging.
