Australia-based media intelligence firm Truescope, founded by former Isentia CEO John Croll, launched in Singapore and Australia today. The company’s cloud-based technology and machine learning capabilities analyse millions of social and mainstream media stories in real-time to deliver world-class insights.
Truescope’s Singapore services will be managed by Dataxet, a company founded last year by former Isentia executives David Liu, Danny Levinson, and Jason Lee.
Within Asia, other media and data intelligence firms like MediaIntel.Asia, Talkwalker, Wisers, and Meltwater already have established strong customer and revenue models. So the Truescope and Dataxet partnership enters a busy sector.
Dataxet had earlier this year partnered with Jakarta-based Sonar Platform and Hong Kong-based ChinaPulse.com to launch a Covid-19 tracking platform at www.TrackCov.id. The tool contains hundreds of news articles updated each hour from thousands of online data points, timely global health statistics aggregated by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, and immediately usable graphs and charts showcasing the data volume across topics and regions in Asia.
