Hong Kong, China, January 29, 2019 /Xinwengao.com/ – The third Asian Sci-Fi festival Melon 2019: Aliens on the galactic Silk Road? will be held at JW Marriott, Hong Kong on Saturday, March 23rd, 2019. Front and center at Melon this time will be a focus on Aliens.
Once again the leading Sci-Fi conference will once again bring together many of the world’s foremost creative thought leaders to discuss the future of science fiction writing, filmmaking and gaming. Melon 2019 will also explore the latest scientific research, innovative technology such as AI development, space exploration, entrepreneurship and much more.
Fritz Demopoulos, founder of Melon said, “We are delighted to bring this innovative event back to Hong Kong. The 2018 event was a great success with over 25 speakers from around the globe who shared their thoughts and ideas with hundreds of participants. This year, we’ll explore the world of Aliens – Fact or Fantasy? And we’ll share and exchange knowledge between all our participants.
Melon 2019 will showcase more than 20 thought-provoking sessions including keynotes, panel discussions, freestyle presentations, seminars and workshops, also the not-to-be-missed networking events to meet with speakers in person.
Melon 2018 was applauded by speakers and audiences alike, being seen as the up-and-coming Sci-Fi get-together to attend. Keynote speaker and U.S.-based prolific Sci-Fi author Allen Steele said, “Melon is Hong Kong’s preeminent ideas festival focused on science fiction, innovation and the future,” and “it was intellectually stimulating without losing its sense of fun.”
