Chinese third-party Internet payment service provider Alipay.com and the health consulting and medical treatment guidance platform 95169.com have reached a deal to provide Internet hospital registration services to users of Alipay.com.

The new service is currently provided in more than 600 hospitals, where users can make appointments with over 10,000 doctors. The appointments can be made from one day to two weeks in advance, depending on the differences of hospitals. The service is expected to free patients or their families from the long queues or the difficulties of on-site registration. However, the service is not applicable for those who want to see the doctors on the same day of their Internet registrations.

To use this new service, users need to enter the hospital registration tag in the application center on Alipay.com and choose from various options, including regions, hospitals, departments, time of appointment, and the doctors they want to see. They also need to provide their personal information to complete the registration. When the registration is successful, the system will automatically keep the registration records of users and send the specific time and place to pick up the registration numbers to the mobile phones of users. Users only need to pick up the registration numbers on the day of seeing the doctors.
