55tuan.com To Operate Ganji.com’s Group Buying Business

China’s Ganji.com and 55tuan.com have jointly announced that 55tuan.com has become the operator of Ganji.com’s group buying business.

The Chinese classified information website Ganji.com said that it has reached a strategic cooperation with 55tuan.com and the company will team with this professional group buying website in the operation of its group buying business. Currently, Ganji.com’s group buying page has been redirected to 55tuan.com.

Ganji.com warned its users that starting from April 12, 2012, Ganji.com would team with 55tuan.com in the joint operation of group buying business. Its former group buying users who want to purchase the jointly operated products need to register new accounts on 55tuan.com.

The company also said that former users who still have money in their accounts need to provide their bank accounts for refunds.

So far, both of the two parties declined to reveal more details of the joint operation.
