Chinese Internet company NetEase.com has announced the official launch of its instant messaging product for corporate users.
The new IM product is independently developed by NetEase.com and it is another important product for the company following the launch of its B2B business. The new product will be integrated with NetEase.com’s corporate email service, aiming to create a secure, professional and stable communication platform for corporations in China. The new IM product will provide basic IM functions, including text chat, file sending, and screen sharing.
Liu Xiaogang, general manager for NetEase.com’s email business department, told local media that NetEase.com continues to expand its product line for corporate users by launching corporate email services, corporate mobile email services, and corporate address book plug-ins. The newly launched corporate IM product will join these products to form a comprehensive inter communication solution and create an exclusive cloud service platform for corporations.
According to NetEase.com, the development of the corporate IM is based on its IM tool Popo launched in 2002. Prior to the launch of the new product, it has undergone public tests and gained positive responses from users.
