Taiwanese Clevo To Open Buynow In Fuzhou

Taiwan-based Clevo, owner of the technology products retail chain Buynow, has reached an agreement with Fuzhou, capital of Fujian province, and will launch a Buynow Digital Plaza project in the city.

Su Zengtian, vice governor of Fujian and mayor of Fuzhou, said that Fuzhou’s city scale, population, economic volume and retail sales are all leaders in Fujian. In addition, it has strong purchasing power. With the improvement of Fuzhou’s infrastructure and traffic network, its traffic, logistics, and capital flow will become more intensive. Su said they welcome the entry of Buynow into Fuzhou, and hopes the related companies can provide better services and create advantageous conditions to promote the start of construction of the Buynow project.

Xu Kuntai, chairman of Clevo, expressed appreciation for the support of the Fuzhou government and introduced the progress of the project. He said that Fuzhou has a geographic advantages and huge market potential. The Clevo Group will make efforts to establish a quality project and ensure the project’s entry into Fuzhou as soon as possible.

The Clevo Group is a well-known group in Taiwan and it focuses on the research and manufacturing of information technology-related products, including notebooks, keyboards, and power supplies. It has opened Buynow IT chain stores in 20 Chinese cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Guangzhou, and Xiamen, and its annual sales of IT products were over CNY40 billion.
