Chinese online game developer and operator Shanda Games has launched a new outsourcing platform, and it started to accept qualification applications of outsourcing vendors from July 23, 2010.
Starting from 2008, the outsourcing model was brought into the research and development processes of various projects of Shanda Games. Due to the good effect of this model, Shanda Games further expanded it in the company in 2009. So far, it has been applied in technology developments, quality tests, website developments, video CG, and marketing activities of the company. The range of the company’s outsourcing procurement has now been extended from China to around the world.
With the launch of the outsourcing platform of Shanda Games, the company’s cooperation with outsourcing vendors will enter a new stage. The new platform will adopt the B2B project outsourcing model. With its help, demands and feedback from different project groups and centers of Shanda Games will be directly passed to outsourcing vendors from different fields.
At the same time, the two parties can complete all necessary procedures, including the publishing of needs, contract approval, quality confirmation, and payment, via the same system.
